We derived our name from Sanskrit word "Gurukul" or the house of education. It was a type of education system in ancient India with students or disciples, living near or with the guru, the teacher, in the same house or building.
Routed in our traditions and culture, empowered by modern knowledge and multi-media, we want to fill the gap between the Guru (scientist, doctor, expert) and the disciples (common people in our community).
We are a small start up company in Bay Area, California started by small group of like minded individuals in US and India.
Our company is made up of few scientist and communication and multimedia specialist who engage with researchers and educators to disseminate their findings of cutting edge science.
